Doug Keese started Artisan Style Photojournalism after working in the newspaper and magazine industry for many years as a professional photojournalist. His style of wedding photography is rooted in documentary photography, so he focuses on capturing the emotional moments of the day, the unique details of each bride's wedding, and the special moments that the bride and groom don't get to see because they are caught up in moments of their own. Doug incorporates a more modern, fashion style to his bridal portraiture as well, using lighting on location to make a scene look more dramatic.

Chris Williams refers to his style of photography as "documentary photography." He approaches every wedding with the intent to tell the full story, shooting as much as possible, wherever possible, and hopefully without anyone realizing how much of the story is captured until the final result is presented. Chris says the highest compliment is having a bride or groom tell him, "Wow, I never knew you were there! How did you get that shot?"
